Principal's Message

Dear Families,

What a wonderful start to the school year! The excitement was palpable among both our students and staff, and I can honestly say this was one of the smoothest starts I’ve experienced in all my years in education. What a great way to begin!

We’ve been busy getting settled, establishing routines and expectations, getting to know one another, and having fun! It is so great to have everyone back at Gildersleeve, and we are excited for all that this school year will bring.

A reminder that Open House is this Thursday, September 3rd. We look forward to welcoming parents into the building to meet your child’s teachers and learn a little more about what their days at Gildersleeve will look like.

9/3 - Open House 4:45- 7:15

2nd Grade - 4:45 - 5:30pm

3rd Grade - 5:40 - 6:25pm

4th Grade - 6:30 - 7:15pm

9/7 - Labor Day - No School

9/23 - 2 hour delay - School starts at 10:30am
