Dear Families, 

We had another great week at Gildersleeve as we continued settling into our new school year. Now is also a great time to get back into those school-year routines at home. Earlier bedtimes, daily scheduled time for reading and homework, and packing lunches and backpacks the night before are all simple ways to help make for a successful school year.

A big thank you to all of our families who joined us for Open House last night! It was wonderful to have you in the building and give you a glimpse into your child’s days at Gildersleeve. If you were unable to attend, please reach out to your child’s teacher for the information that was shared.

Wishing everyone a wonderful and relaxing Labor Day weekend! Enjoy the long weekend, and we look forward to seeing everyone back on Tuesday!

Please take a moment to review and update your child's emergency contact information in PowerSchool. Having current phone numbers and additional emergency contacts is essential in the event your child becomes ill or is injured at school and we are unable to reach a primary parent/guardian. Keeping this information up to date helps us make sure we can reach someone quickly when your child needs you. Thank you for helping us keep our students safe!
