Happy Friday, BIS Families!
Today, both Grade 5 and Grade 6 participated in our monthly town hall meetings. Our students were remarkably reflective during our discussions around kindness and respect at Brownstone.
Grade 6: Our Student Council introduced a new "Marble System." Classes can earn grade-wide rewards, such as spirit weeks, class movies, game days, or even a dance party, by maximizing respectful behavior and minimizing classroom disruptions. Stay tuned for updates!
Grade 5: Students focused on kindness and respect as well, putting their knowledge to the test during an energetic game of classroom Family Feud.
Student News Crew Launching Next Week:
In addition to our after-school clubs and activities, I’m excited to announce that our student news crew will officially begin taking over the morning announcements next week! We look forward to having our students start our days on a positive note.
